You do not need to know how to pose.
Most couples are not used to being photographed together—and they should not have to arrive with poses memorized.
I’ll guide you clearly, adjust the small details, and give you enough direction to feel secure without making the session feel stiff or overly controlled. We’ll begin simply, let the awkwardness fade, and create space for genuine connection to show through.
The goal is not to manufacture intimacy. It is to notice what already exists between you and photograph it thoughtfully.

Proposal Experience
Beginning at $495
A proposal may last only a few moments, but photographing it well requires preparation. We’ll plan where I should be, how you will arrive, what the light is likely to do, and how to preserve the surprise without leaving the photographs to chance.
Afterward, we’ll create a small collection of portraits while the excitement is still real—without turning the experience into a long formal session.

I review the complete session and choose the photographs that best preserve connection, expression, variety, and the visual story we created.
Finished
Each selected image is individually refined with attention to light, color, detail, and consistency across the complete gallery.
Delivered
Your private online gallery includes high-resolution downloads and personal printing rights, delivered within three weeks.
You will not be asked to sort through unfinished proofs or choose between nearly identical frames. Curation is part of what allows the final gallery to feel complete without becoming overwhelming.

Frequently asked questions.
What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
That is completely normal. Clear direction is provided throughout, and the session begins simply so you have time to settle in rather than being expected to perform immediately.
Can we bring more than one outfit?
Couple Essential is built around one primary look. Couple Signature allows time for a second look when changing locations and timing make it practical.
How do we choose a location?
We’ll discuss the mood you want, places that feel meaningful, travel considerations, light, permits, and whether you prefer something natural, architectural, colorful, or more private.
Are location, permit, parking, or admission fees included?
Any required outside fees are separate from the session price and will be discussed before the date is reserved.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If conditions would meaningfully affect safety or the quality of the photographs, we’ll reschedule and transfer the booking retainer to the new date.
How far in advance should we book?
Several weeks is ideal, especially for weekends, sunset sessions, proposals, or dates tied to announcements and invitations.
When will we receive the photographs?
The finished gallery will be delivered within three weeks, though the internal goal is usually considerably sooner.
Do you provide unedited images?
No. Photographer selection and individual finishing are part of the service, so only the completed photographs intended for the final gallery are delivered.
