Most people are not naturally comfortable being photographed—and they should not have to be.
You will never be expected to arrive knowing where to stand, what to do with your hands, or how to create the right expression. I’ll give you clear, simple direction and make small adjustments throughout the session without forcing stiff poses or asking you to perform for the camera.
The result is a collection of photographs that feels relaxed, intentional, and genuinely personal.

A senior session should feel like more than a school requirement.
Senior year marks the closing of one season and the beginning of another. Your photographs should preserve more than what you looked like—they should reflect something of who you were at this moment.
Your setting
Open desert light, architecture and color, indoor spaces, or somewhere that already carries meaning. Signature sessions may also continue beyond sunset.

04 · A Through Glass signature
From golden light to city lights.
A portrait session does not have to end when the sun disappears.
Senior Signature sessions can begin in warm evening light and continue through blue hour or after dark, using professional lighting to create something more distinctive.
The change in light gives us room to build two sides of the same story: photographs that feel soft and natural, followed by images with greater atmosphere, depth, and visual drama.
After-dark photography is optional—another creative possibility for seniors who want their collection to go somewhere less expected.

I have a passion for exciting and expressive images. I believe deeply in the profound significance of the marriage commitment, so weddings were the initial draw for me. However, along the way, I discovered a passion for photography in all forms.
It is, after all, art.
It is a chance to show something beautiful in the oft overlooked. It is about capturing a moment in time that stirs something inside of us—that captivates us.
That remains the standard I bring to every session: thoughtful direction, intentional light, careful composition, and attention to details that are easy to miss.

Your finished gallery is not simply every photograph that happened to be technically usable.
After each session, I review the complete set and select the strongest images based on expression, lighting, composition, variety, and the way they work together as a collection.
You will not be asked to sort through unfinished proofs or decide between dozens of nearly identical frames. Recognizing the strongest images is part of the work you are hiring me to do.
Your gallery should feel complete, not overwhelming.
